re horsefiels and leopard tortoises

hi can you please advise me i have a 3 year old horsefield tortoise and want to know if he can be kept with a leopard tortoise. thanks

Hello Net,

The leopard tortoises do get larger than the horsefield tortoises.  
It usually is not recommended to house 2 different species however.
You would need to make sure that you did not house 2 males together or a male & a female together as cross breeding is discouraged.  Two females would be the most likely scenario to work more smoothly as long as the enclosure was adequately large for space for them to move around in.
