Question
I was wondering how to tell the age of a Jackson Chameleon.

Answer
Hi Cody, There is no real way to determine the age of a full size adult chameleon, a one year old chameleon will look the same as a three year old. They reach breeding size at around 6 months and usually have reached their full growth by one year. You can roughly estimate the age of hatchlings, juveniles and sub-adults based on their body size and the developement of their horns. That is assuming that they have been fed well and are growing at a normal rate. A poor diet or environment can slow down or stunt the growth in reptiles.
