Question
Hi Tracie,

Stacey from upstate NY with another update on "Beardie". Same as before, not eating on her own, was on Panacur for Pin worms and now Baytril for a suspected respiratory infection, now nearly a week this Wed on anitbiotic. Last night while giving her daily bath, she had what I thought was diarreah...explosive pop of poop/pee in the water. This am after feeding her her jar baby food, Acidopholiz+ daily dose and Baytril antibiotic I noticed diarreah poop on the tank...although I did not see her do it,I am fairly sure this is what it is...what should i do? Back off the amount of Acidopholiz+,  hold off the veggie baby foods, do only Reptaid? I have not seen anymore ,but am sure when I bath her tonight she will at the very least go poop/pee again, as she has become acustomed to and does now within the 1st minute in the bath vs @ 10 min n the bath.
Thanks again,
Stacey

Answer
Hello Stacey,

Well, sometimes medication combined with probiotics will cause diarrhea unfortunately.  If she continues to have it, you will need to keep her hydrated with water & reptaid so she doesn't get dehydrated from the diarrhea.
How do her eyes look right now, are they sunken in or are they bright & elevated?
Baby food normally should not cause diarrhea.
Let me know how she is doing!
