QuestionHello Bryan,
How are large animals like anaconda, jaguar, tapir as well as smaller snakes, scorpions able to co-exist and survive with army ants. Please reply!
AnswerWell, army ants may be quite the all-consuming beast, but a large animal would have to be injured or otherwise unable to simply get up and run away when they start to bite. When it comes to smaller animals, they do often fall prey to the ant if caught in their path and unable to quickly get to safety.
Army ants are common, but to my knowledge, not common enough and do not cover enough ground to pose a serious threat to any particular species, beyond the unlucky individuals who are not able to escape.
