Safe ground cover plants

Question
I own a veiled chameleon and a crested gecko. (in separate enclosures).  The crested is in a exo-terra glass terrarium and the chameleon is in a 24 x 36 exo-terra explorarium.  Both lizards need mid-high humidity and I would like to plant some ground cover in the bottom of the enclosures to help keep it up.  Please let me know if there are any safe ground cover plants I can use.  I tried the live moss but didn't have much luck with it.  Thank you

Answer
Hi Virginia,

The various tortoise sites are an excellent resource for safe plant information. I have linked several below that have lists of safe, edible plants. As far as houseplants, ferns are always a safe option for med-high humidity enclosures and spider plants do very well and are also safe.
