Question
I have 5 cornsnake eggs that should be hatching in about 4 days. When do I first need to feed them and if they won't take the pinkies what can I do to help persuade them?

Answer
Stephanie, feed them a day or two after their first shed.  To feed place each snake in a small container with a newborn pink mouse.  Live or frozen is fine.  I just started a batch last week and 10:11 went on the first try, fed again yesterday and got all 11 (all frozen thawed).  If you do get a stubborn one "braining" the pinkie usually does the trick.  Basically split open the head of the pinkie (gross I know).  Let me know if you need more help, BPC
