toads age

I have a bufo barious americantoad i found in california it has a white stripe from his head to his back I was wonderinng how long do they live????????

I do believe you may have the scientific name a little wrong on your toad. Bufo americanus (translated is American toad)..... is this your toad? http://animaldiversity.ummz.umich.edu/site/accounts/information/Bufo_americanus....
Information is varied on toads lifespan...stating anywhere from 15 yrs to over 30 years. Sad to see that the oldest captive kept was 36 years old and was killed by accident.. the above link is very interesting to read and contains ton of information on the bufo americanus.
