TORTOISE AND BEARDED DRAGON

Question
I have a bearded dragon and a spur thight tortoise, i was wondering if they could be put in a vivarium together? not to live toghether just  now and again?

Hi Nicola, Anytime animals share a vivarium, even for a short while, they are exposed to each others faeces. Even when there is not visible amounts of stool present, the bacteria and other organisms from the faeces will be present in the substrate. What is normal and harmless for your tortoise may prove to be pathogenic for your bearded and vice versa. Both pinworms and coccidia are common in bearded dragons
There is no benefit to either animal from sharing the enclosure but there is potential risk to one or both.
