is there any thing i can do to help him

Answer
Hi Glen,

Topical ointments like Polysporin or Neosporin can be safely used on frogs but it is critical that you use the version that does not contain any "pain relief".
Silver sulfadiazine can be used but would need to be acquired from a vet or doctor. Tetracycline based ointments are also safe for frogs. I have used tetracycline opthalmic (eye) ointments successfully on frog lesions.

I would avoid hydrogen peroxide which has a narrow anti-bacterial spectrum and is harsh on tissues. Iodine base products like Betadine are toxic to amphibians. It is used in some situations to treat fungal infections but must be very highly diluted, best to avoid it.
