Question
QUESTION: i came home and my lid on my dragons tank was broke so i imideatly started looking for him when i found him i looked him over he felt cold and he has a little puncture wound by his tail and his left eye wont open we put him in the heat light and put some crickets in his cage hhe can move but he hasnt been much we cleaned his cut with water the best we could any suggestions do u think he will make it

ANSWER: Hello Brionna,

I am sorry to hear your cat got your dragon.
Do you have any quick pictures of him?
Has he eaten any of the crickets?  I wouldn't leave them in for too long as they stress him if he is not able to get the crickets.
Keep his eye cleaned out with sterile saline solution to help keep it cleaned out.  Also use some antibiotic ointment on the puncture wound on his tail after cleaning it in a bath to help keep infection from spreading.

Keep him warm over night to around80.  You can use a ceramic heat emitter or a heating pad on low to help keep him warm.

Let me know how he is doing.  I hope he makes it through.

QUESTION: he is still alive and did not eat any crickets he moved a good amout durring the nite i have no way to take a picture but he looks normal just tthe little tiney puncture and he cant get his eye open he seems to be doing ok besides not eating we think he might just be stressed still

Answer
Hello Brionna,

He is still hanging in there for you?  Wow that is amazing.
How is the puncture spot looking, is it draining any fluid at all, or look to be getting infected at all?
Have you put any antibiotic ointment on the area where the puncture is?  His eye is not able to open?  Is it damaged pretty badly?  Is it scratched up?
Oh I am completely sure that he is still very stressed.
If you are not able to get him to eat I would get some chicken or turkey baby food & some squash baby food to feed to him.  Use a plastic dropper or plastic syringe to drip it onto the end of his nose so he can get some nutrition into him.

Let me know how he is doing.
