Question
My son has had his lizard for exactly 3 weeks. We found 5 eggs today. The lizard is the only 1 in the cage. In this time frame, would it be possible that they are fertilized? Is for, how do we best care for the eggs? Thanks in advance!

Answer
Hello Kathryn,

Well, the only way that his female's eggs could be fertilized is if she was with a male before he got her.  If she was not, then, they will be infertile.
Lizards do lay infertile eggs quite often.
Do you know how old she is?
If you figure that they are fertile, you will need to incubate them at a stable 84-85 degrees with a humidity of around 80% or so.  The incubation period usually runs around 45-60 days roughly.
