Answer
Hi Marlyn,
Hon, I really can't know if he will be OK because I can't see him. Baby beardies can be very stressed with getting a new home and many do have internal parasites that are worse when they are stressed out.  Be sure your care is right, make sure his crickets are no larger than the space between his eyes and his salad is chopped up realllllly fine...It would be best to have a vet check a "poop" sample to check for parasites so they can be treated.  If he does not perk up soon and start eating, then you really need to get him to a vet.  Lizards can close their eyes to ignore what is going on around them...another sign of stress.  I know you want to hold him and watch him all the time, but he needs time to settle into his new surroundings. Try offering him some babyfood chicken...many do enjoy that...but...remember...don't let him go too long with out eating, etc before taking him to a vet. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you and your new friend.
