Bibron Gecko

Question
I bought a bibron gecko today from somebody who advertised it in a newspaper. The home was awful, and I feel the gecko has been badly treated, and therefore I 'rescued' it anyway. Having looked at pictures of bibron gecko's, mine looks like them in the body ect, but its tail is very thin and it has a huge neck, almost as if it were a tumor or it was puffing air into it. It is symetrical on both sides, so both sides are fat..they stick out past the shoulders of the front legs.

I can't be much more descriptive, although I can get a photo if you need one. I am just worried I may have an unhealthy or sick gecko.

Thanks

Answer
Hello Charlie,

What type of setup do you have now?  A picture would be helpful though just so I can get an overall assessment of him.
Are you saying that his shoulder blades stick out, or the tumor or growth sticks out past the shoulders?
He is probably malnourished if he came from a bad home.  That is too bad.  What do you plan on feeding him, or has he been interested in food yet?
