Question
I have a young green iguana and a a couple days ago it looked like he was pooping, but whatever it was is still there and it can't be wiped off and its not going away. There is an orange colored bulge there. The iguana itself is also starting to turn almost yellow. I don't know whats wrong with him or what i should do.

Answer
Hello Tara,

Oh boy, that would be a prolapse I believe.  Can you post a picture of him?
What do you feed him?  What is your setup like for him?  Are you using UVB lighting & if so what type & brand of lighting?  Is it a flourescent tube bulb or a compact/coil light?
What type of basking light do you use, a bright white light or a colored light?
Do you use calcium supplementation?
His whole body is turning yellow?  Are you sure he is not getting ready to shed?
I do need to see a picture to see if it is a prolapse.
Are you soaking him in water & giving oral fluids?
