Pet African Plated Lizard

Can African plated lizards eat skeeterhawks--I know there are different names for this insect, but I mean the one that has long spindly legs that looks almost like a dragonfly but smaller and with skinny long wings...& they eat mosquitoes of course...we have a few of them buzzing around our house. Do they make good lizard food...? Thanks, Winona

I have never kept this type of lizard so it is out of my field
BUT-I do not feed any of my lizards insects from outdoors because of the chance that the insects may have come in contact with a pesticide of some type

I would suggest that you do a search on Google for African Plated Lizards and you should come up with some good websites and care sheets for this species of lizard
