Question
QUESTION: i visited him this morning and his lump has decreased alot.although i didnt get close enough to see his "other" lump but he seems much happier.i might be getting a DOMESTICATED lizard with a full caree sheet.the only thing wrong is the fact that the lizard i want is 50$!!!they're cute though they can be taken on walks.they're spunky little lizards!!!cant wait!!!

ANSWER: Hello Olivia,

Wow that is really good the lump has gone down a lot.  I guess he is getting better now.  The sunshine is probably really helping him a lot.
Which lizard are you getting?  Make sure to run the care sheet by me first.  There are a lot of care sheets that are not up to date.

QUESTION: actually it hasnt been very sunny, its been raining alot but it has been pretty hot so i think that will help.anyways im getting a bearded dragon(baby)at Petco.the care sheet says everything that they do so its pretty up-to-date.eventually when i get one ill be able to take him on walks i just think thats sooooo cool!!!!one good thing is the fact i dont have to mist their cage i give them a bowl of water.(since they live in the desert they dont need to be humid)but anyway its gonna be really fun!!!

ANSWER: Hello Olivia,

Well, I hope he is doing well & finding plenty of food.  :-))
Remember, some of the pet stores are terrible with their advice on the care sheets.  They do not sell good UVB lights, either.
Please consult me before getting one so I can direct you to the proper things to get so you don't waste your money.
Yes, they are "desert" animals, but not in the sense to where they need it bone dry either.  They do need a humidity of around 30-40% actually to help with shedding.

QUESTION: oooooo. wel i was going to put a bowl of water for him to soak and another to drink i dont think he'll care though.but Petco is one of the best pet stores ive been to, besides Petsmart their good to. i also havent seen nomad in a day or so i hope hes ok:( i already bought a uvb lamp and i was wondering if i should get him large or small crickets their about 6 in. long. i set up his cage with 1 climbing stick and sand for his ground

Answer
Hello Olivia,

Which UVB light did you get?  I need the brand & the type of UVB.  Is it a flourescent tube bulb or a compact/coil light?
Are you using a bright white basking light or a colored light?
What kind of sand did you get?  If you got calcisand then you are going to have to take that back.  That type of sand is extremely dangerous & is a huge culprit of impactions.  That type of sand clumps up like cement & is very hard for them to digest if they ingest it.
The petstores do not always have good care sheets.
