Skin Is Peeling

i have a 3 year old Hermann tortoise. i have noticed quite a bit of growth. after a while little bits of skin is peeling of her neck is this ok and normal ?? thanks

Hi Dannii, That sounds quite normal. As they outgrow the old skin it breaks up and comes off in pieces. As long as the skin on her neck looks healthy with no redness or any other signs of inflammation then it sounds like a normal shedding of old skin.
