QUESTION: Hi Tracie,
Could no longer "follow-up." Had to start new question.
This is Gina, with the bearded dragon that developed swollen eyes from UVB tube lighting.
I've tried to attached a better image of the packaging and bulb fixture. I hope you can open it. I did locate what looks to be the serial # of the light fixture I have. I can only give you a partial. The number is tucked inside of the fixture where I cannot fully read it. Not sure how many numbers there are in the entire serial number, but here's what I can make out ~ ...2439070201.
Hope that helps.

Thanks, Tracie

ANSWER: Hello Gina,

No, the picture wont open.  Can you send me to the site where you bought it or find it online to show me the packaging?
I will see what I can find out about the light.  Could you maybe ask the store clerk or owner if he just bought the light or if it was something that has been on his shelf for months??
Thanks, I appreciate your help.  I need to know if it is an old or a new R-Zilla light.
How is your dragon now?  Still improving?
How close did you have the light to him, & were you using a bright white basking light beside it?

The serial number, is it the fixture that the light goes into, or is it of the light, itself?  The tube light should have the serial number on the light, itself.

QUESTION: Hi Tracie,
I wanted to try to send you the image once more. Let me know if you can view it.
Dragon's eyes are still pretty swollen, although they are open more often. He just shed again, and is a little inactive. Still eating, but not as much as the other day. Will swelling take a while to go down? UVB light was along the entire front of the tank, and basking light sits behind the fixture on one end.

Answer
Hello Gina,

Yes, I got that picture now.
Good that his eyes are opening more now, but, they are still swollen?  Poor guy.  Yes, the swelling does take awhile to go down.  You don't have any UVB on him right now, correct?
I recommend ordering the Reptisun 10 flourescent tube bulb, but I would not put any UVB light on him for a couple of weeks.
You could get an herbal tea bag, & warm it up with it moistened at night, right as he is getting sleepy, put that on his eyes.  It may help his eyes to feel better.
Did you get a chance to talk to the petstore clerk about when he bought that light?

Thanks for sending the picture.
