red headed agama wont eat

hi, i just got a read headed agama 2 days ago and i cant get him to eat. im trying crickets but he doesnt seem to go for them hes about 8" long. ive tried hand feeding and that wont work either? any ideas?

Probably has a bad parasite problem, and probably will never eat...  I'd return it to the pet store you got it from.  All RHA's are wild caught and at least 50% of them don't make it.  You could try worming/deparasitizing but I couldn't even guarantee success then...  They are very tough to acclimate.  Never buy a reptile from a pet store w/o seeing it feed or getting a written guarantee that it will.  Pet stores are notorious for selling animals they know nothing about.  I'm curious, how much did it cost?  I pay about $2.50 for them from the importer I know, what did the store charge you?
