Tumor in leopard gecko?

So
My friend has a leopard gecko and it got a big bump on the side of his head. She doesn't have money for a vet. It kinda got dumped on her cuz someone was just gonna put it outside and let it die. Does anyone know of a rescue place or someone that will take him in. I don't want him to die and he looks really bad.   Any help is extremely helpful.  Thank you

I am so sorry about the poor leopard gecko!
Do you have a picture of him?
Where are you located at?  I can try to see if I can find a rescue for you or find a home for him.  That is nice of you to try & help your friend & the gecko!
