QuestionQUESTION: Hi, this morning I went to open my gerbil food container and to my surprise there was about 8 juviniale mice and 10 pinkie mice making a home in my container! I am getting rid of the juvys because I dont need a mouse infestation, but I was wondering if I could feed the pinkies to my adult beardeds? I used to raise mice and would say they are less then a day old right now. I tried to google this but came up dry. Please help :)
ANSWER: Yes you can feed the pinks to your Bearded Dragon. I wouldn't feed them on a regular basis maybe just once a week or so.

QUESTION: Is there any chance that the pinkies would have any of the diseases that wild adult mice have? Should I do anything special to insure they are okay before I feed? I am just really nervous because I dont want to lose one of my bearded dragons because I fed it a wild pinkie :)
AnswerI must apologize, I thought you meant that the gerbil had babies and were referring to them as mice. If they are wild mice I definitely would not feed them to a captive beardie as this may incur an ailment of some type. Once again my apologies for not correctly reading your original query. Where I live people do not keep Gerbils and I made a presumption based on where I live.
