alligator lizard

he seems to be breathing hard and can not swallow..I'm keeping him warm and feeding him a mixture of egg and water with his vitamin..it goes down I gave him some tetracycline it was drops for fish..I gave it for 3 days.??  Don't know what to do

 Get him to a good reptile veterinarian as soon as possible, he may have a respiratory infection and need better medication. With out a definitive diagnosis, you can't treat him properly.  If you do not know one, go to www.arav.org for a list of reptile vets in your state.
