Found a baby gecko

Question
Hello! While cleaning, we found and very little gecko (I believe a leopard but I really don't know). His sides are pink and seem raw. His front right arm also seems hurt possibly. It's smaller than the others and he seems to be walking funny. What should I do? I'm not positive we can keep it but I don't want to just put him outside (unless that'd be best).

Thanks!

Answer
Leos are not native to the US so you can not release it.  If it's possibly hurt, it should be taken to a good reptile vet.  If you have no intention of keeping it, you can contact a herpetological society in your state.  They will know of good reptile rescues that will give the baby the care it needs.
