Question
I have two anoles and a baby anole in a 30 gallon tank and they all seem to be doing very well.  I was wondering if it would be possible to introduce 2 green tree frogs into the aquarium?  Donna

Answer
Hi Donna,
I replied to this earlier but for some reason it did not go through.
Its never a good idea to mix any species fro several seasons. With the two species you are  talking about, there is a big difference in the care they need, including anoles are diurnal lizards, meaning they are active during the day and they also require special uvb lighting....the tree frogs are nocturnal, meaning active at night and do not require uvb.  Housing those two species together would cause terrible stress, just based on the lighting alone..add to that the difference in temperatures, and the possibility of diseases that can harm the other species, its in the best interest of both to house them in their own habitat with correct care..that will keep them happy and healthy.
