Red-eyed croc skinks/missing tail

Question
HI, I have 2 red eyed croc skinks, and they're living together. Yesterday, we found one was missing the end of it's tail. (a pretty good amount, less than half though). well, i'm wondering what might be the best thing to do for him. i was wonering if i should soak him in anything, to clean his wound, and i was going to isolate him. he's about 5 or 6 inches, would a 10 gallon be okay with some paper towel? i dont know if you know much about them, but i've heard so many different things about heat/lighting. should i put a heat lamp/source on them? or a light source?
thanks.

Answer
Yes, separate them.  CLean the wound with water, dress with antibiotic ointment.  As to lighting you're right in that I don't know much about them.  They are pretty rare in captivity.  If they bask (sit out in the sun) in the wild, then you need to have basking lights which provide both heat and UVB in your cage(s).
