ackie monitor scratching

hi i have a problem with my ackie! He keeps scratching his head either with his foot or on bark! He also has his eyes closed a lot and maybe off food a little but still eating and pooped two day ago! Has been to vet 4 weeks ago and all clear was gived but looks to have never gone! His head is sheding at the moment but has not been the whole 4 weeks!

 Give him a baby-warm bath to help loosen the shed.  Also the closed eyes is keeping him from finding his food.  What kind of UVB source are you using?  If you have changed to a coil or compact UVB bulb that may explain it. These bulbs have been damaging reptile eyes.  So if you have them, replace with either the linear fluorescent tube or mercury vapor bulb.
