Creasted Gecko

I have a creasted gecko and I found maggots in his water (I do change it every day).  I think he drank some of it, and he hasn't drank any water today.  He also seemed to want to stay in his cage, which has never happened before.  Do you think there could be anything wrong?

Hi Maddie, I don't know exactly what those larva were that you found but I strongly doubt that they could have caused any harm. They may have been fruit fly larva. His behaviour change may just be due to an up-coming shed. I would not be overly worried about it.
