Answer -
Hi Tim,

ouch right!! ive had my share for sure use a good anti bacteria soap when your washing your hands and keep using the disifectent, niles and most monitors have nasty mouths just keep an eye out for redness, tenderness and of course swelling if any of that happens get to your doctor but you should be fine ive been bitten by niles, savanahs, croc monitors,(not to mention snake and iggy bites lol)you probly allready no they are an aggressive monitor so be careful and let me no if ya need any help .

         thanks

Answer
i used to keep around a ridged but plyable one inch wide and about 6-7 inch long piece of polyurathane,  as not to break teeth and cause mouth rot, work it under the snout or front teeth and lift up... and roll your finger or part caught in mouth toward the monitar and then up and out same with boas and pythons.

         thanks
