sorry to keep bothering you, i measured his width which is 1cm wide and he is 17 in long so do you think there is a problem hes been the same width since i've had him all this time

OK, the first problem is that you are feeding him things, (pinkies), that are way too small.  At 17 cm long he should be eating large fuzzies or hoppers.  Always judge the prey by the snake's WIDEST point not his neck.  If he is 1cm wide the prey should be 1 cm wide.  The size sounds wonderful if he is only 6 months of age.
