baby bearded dragon died

me and my boyfriend both got bearded dragons from the same batch.. they were together since birth and are now 3 months old! did were really healthy as we heard that if their tails are thick at the beginning that they are in good health.. they ate well and all.. the other day it was nice out so we held them outside for abit when i decided to put mine on the lil tree stump in the yard.. she then spotted a lil black beatle and ate it.. about an hr later we got home and she was dead in her cage.. with her togne out and legs stretched right back.. im curious to see why she died... we're learning new things everyday! if you can get back at me! thanks!

Well from what you tell me it does sound like she was probably healthy, a nice plump tail is always a good indicator. There are a couple of possibilities as to why she may have died. The little beetle could have been in an area where pesticides had been sprayed which can be toxic to reptiles and could have killed her. She also could have just not chewed enough and could have choked. With out being there or seeing her I'm not sure what else it could have been.
