Answer
Mr. Williams,

Sir, it is possible you are dealing with a color morph, but unlikely. You see, there are breeders who intentionally play on recessive traits to produce colors in bearded dragons, iguanas and other lizards to enhance appeal and generate more profit. If Spike is a color morph, he is likely a "sandfire", but generally, the morphs have a distinctive appearance. Regardless of whether or not you have a "morph", it is the same species and should be cared for in the same manner. My instinct tells me that Spike is reaching sexual maturity and that his orange-ish tinge is something similar to how the green iguana can turn completely orange from breeding colors. Aside from his orange-ish tinge around his face and eyes, he appears to be a standard bearded dragon to me, however, I could be wrong basing it off of one picture alone. I hope that you enjoy Spike and that he brings you much joy.

Notice the subtle color changes in the face as the dragon reaches sexual maturity.
