Question
QUESTION: it was doing fine but the other day we changed his/her diet we gave it mill worms the next day it started shaking and it would not move we put it in the sun we thought maybe it needed uv rays it seemed to work but it still is acting weird not like it used to and today i was dripping water for it to drink and it drank plenty a moment later it was drooling clear stuff but it is eating just fine what can be wrong is it the mill worms?

ANSWER: Hello Rosalba,

How old is your chameleon?  I would not think that feeding mealworms would have caused the shaking unless you have a tiny one & it is impacted.
Do you have UVB lighting?  If so, what type & brand are you using, is it a flourescent tube bulb or a compact or coil light?   How old is the UVB light?
Do you offer calcium supplementation?  If so, how often?
How often does he go to the bathroom?
Do you have a misting system in the tank for him?
What are the temps in the tank & what type of thermometer do you use to measure the temps?

QUESTION: I'm not sure how old it is I'm guessing is a teen and i just bought the uvb i give it calcium but not too often maybe twice a month he goes regularly and i mist it about 4-5 times a day also how can i tell if its a she or a he?

Answer
Hello Rosalba,
What type & brand of UVB is it?  Is it a flourescent tube bulb or a compact or coil light?  All UVB's are not created equal.  The brand should be stamped on the base of the bulb.
He needs calcium 3 times per week.
Does he have enlarged femoral pores that are visible & bumpy on the inner thigh area, that are all lined up in a row?  If not, then you have a female, but if there are large pores then it is a male.
How do you measure the temperatures in the tank?
