do bearded dragons travel well?

Hi--strange question, but we sometimes travel about 3 hours away and wondered if we might just take our little guy with us.  Do you think that would be okay if we could maintain his warm surroundings?

Sure, invest in an Apogee reptarium, a high dome fixture and a Megaray 60 or 100 watt, a place to bask and a pet carrier.  The reptarium folds up so all you need is a duffel for his stuff.  I've taken kids on vacation with me, even drove to Florida with a stop at a pet friendly hotel.  Also a leash is good for pitstops at rest areas in case he needs to stretch his legs or poop.
