Can skinks live together?

Question
I caught two blue-tailed skinks today, one six inches long and one about two-three inches long and missing its tail.  I do believe the bigger one is a male and the smaller a female, the male has a rust color head.  Can these two skinks live together or should they be seperated?

Answer
Mske sure one is male and the other female at the vet.  Also call a herpetological society in your state to make sure they allow you to keep wild caught native species.  If you are allowed, and they are off opposite gender, they can live together.  But I would buy a tank large enough to allow multiple hides so the female can have a little peace and quiet.  Also watch and make sure she gets her fair share of food.  If she starts getting skinny, then they will have to be separated.
