beginner lizard

what do you recomend for a beginner lizard that is able to be set on your arm and walk around but not run very quickly?

Hello Brendan,

Well, leopard geckos are easy beginner lizards & are very small as well.  They "can" be quick if they get startled, but after they get used to you they are very tame & just kind of settle in for you.
They are the best ones.  Bearded dragons are not slow, so I don't recommend them for a beginner, or young kids.  They can be quite challenging, as well.
