BT Skink not eating

Question
My BT skink is not eating, but he/she is still active. I moved  it to a new location where there is more human activity about a month ago. It has eaten very little to no food since then. Could it be because it is winter or because of the environment change? Any suggestions??

Answer
All reptiles will stress when thier environment changes.  Stress will also cause the gut parasites to rise.  If the levels are high enough, it would be like a us having a little tummy ache.  A trip to the vet for a check up and a fecal test will either rule out parasites or he will get proper treatment for it.  If he must be treated, follow that up with a good probiotic to restore the natural gut flora that will help him digest.  Another thing is to check his habitat to make sure there was no variation in temperature by the move.  The rest is to get him used to the increased activity.
