ORNATE NILE MONITOR

my ornate Nile monitor eats crickets like crazy but will not eat a pinky mouse how do i get him to eat one can U plz help me

Answer
He may not be big enough to eat a pinky and ornate niles are much more timid than traditional nile monitors just give him some more time.  Pink mice are very high in fat anyways and should be fed sparingly.  Try to vary his diet a bit more with different types of worms or small fish.
