Question
I think I had asked you a question about the behaviour of our wee bearded dragon......there was a response but i dont understand it
Subject   baby bearded dragons behavior
Question   My daughter went to the reptile show in Mississauga over the weekend with her father andthey purchased two three week old bearded dragons, we already have one thats a year old and is doing great. One of the teo little ones has a very odd behavior that i hope you may  help us with. She tends to keep her head down and almost tries to bury it in your hand,we havent noticedhereating but she will take water droplets from our finger. Is tis a normal thing for her to be doing or is she stressed or is she going to pass away? I just dont know what we are doing wrong seeing the other baby one is doing great....any suggestion? My daughter will be heart broken if anything happens to this wee one
thank you for your time

Answer
Hello Shelly,

I guess your question got redirected from someone else perhaps.
I can help you out.
Can you go over your setup with me?  What type & brand of UVB light are you using, a flourescent tube light or a compact or coil light?
What type of basking light are you using?
What type of thermometer are you using & what are your temps?
Do you feed them in the tank?  Does the other one try & hog the food by dominating it?
Sometimes, they will go through a relocation stress which does cause lethargic behavior initially.
Make sure that you hydrate daily with oral fluids.  Use a plastic dropper to get water onto the end of the nose so she/he will lick that off.
You may need to separate them right now until the other one gets better.
Let me know how things are going.  What are you feeding them?
