Question
Hi i jsut recived my baby dragon she is 6 inches and heathly she already ate crickets and veggies this morning and she onyl got her yesterday evening!. She is hypomelanistic she was rather orange in the picture I'd seen of her before buying her but she is rather pale right now...I can see a glint of orange on her sides and he tail is orange but nothing like her picture...shes from a very reptible breeder...I am guessing she is begining to shed? I've not had a baby dragon before i have an adult now but he was adult when I got him...anyway what is a dragon suposed to look likebefore a shed? my adult male sheds few and far between so I don't remember what it looks like...but her colors are washed out except her tail and sides. Also this dragons father is a Salmon Glow/Hypo Orange/Chris Allen Red    should I expect my little girl to be brightly colored as well?

Answer
Babies change color with every shed.  And babies will shed constantly.
As far as eating, it depends on the baby.  It's great that she's eating right away.  She may suddenly stop for a few days.  But even that will be normal.
I also have a hypomelanistic male, and he was not extremely bright colored as a baby, but as an adult, he's very orange.
In about two weeks, after your girl has acclimated to her new home, it will be time for a well-baby check up at a good reptile veterinarian.
