Hi again,

I do live in Palm Bay Florida. I already have permit to keep skunks and opossums and I don't need one for my nine snakes,bearded dragons or hedghog. I know I need a transport license for the skunk and opossum (I think), well I applied for one for them and the gator. Waiting for a reply. I think the license for hunting gator is $150 but do not want that and I don't see another one on their site. Can you help. I'm so confused. Thanks

Anita, I would suggest you call the FL Game and Fresh Water Fish tion Commision and get it straight from the horse's mouth!  I don't want to screw this one up, as they will screw you up if you do it wrong!  I do know that one can not own an alligator in the state w/o it being for sale or for an educational display.  And no, you get one and then put it up for sale at say $5000, and no you can't call it an educational display if you keep it in your bedroom.  Call F&G and talk to them.  Your local field office will know where to send you.
