Answer
Hi Molina

I am going to give you a link to the best Iggy WebSite out there

You will find just about everything that you want to know about Iguanas there

http://www.greenigsociety.org/

The first and most important thing that you will need is the right sized tank/enclosure(large enough for a good temperature gradient) for your new found pet and a good 10.0 UV light and a basking spot light

You will also need a digital thermometer with a probe on the end of it to get the most accurate temperature readings

If the temps in the tank are not correct-he will not eat and digest his food properly

Get some collard/turnip greens and since this is a baby-chop them up into bite sized pieces

You will need both the UV light and the basking spot lamp for him/her to properly digest the food once it has eaten

You will want to place several branches in his/her
tank  for him/her to bask on under the spot bulb

The website that I provided also has a forum where you can post newbie questions
:)

What kind of shape is it in?

Is it active and alert or very weak?

Whether or not he/she can/will eat on his/her own will determine the type of care that you need to be giving at this time

If he'she will not eat-there is a formula made by Flukers that is for non-eating reptiles
You will want the Herbivore formula
It is sold in most large chain pet stores and it is around $10 for the kit

Follow the instructionsto mix it and to feed-place a drop on the Igys nose and let him/her lick it off
Repeat -with small feedings at first-1/2 syringe and work up to larger feedings
Feed at least twice per day

He may be dehydrated-this formula will also help hydrate him and also provide plenty of fresh water in a dish and spray/mist him gently several times per day

If the Iggy is strong enough to eat on it's own you have a very good chance of saving it

If it does not eat on it's own or if you just want more info on food and feeding
go to this link

Please let me know how your new friend is doing once you get his tank properly set up for him/her

I wish you both the best
