Very sick baby leopard gecko

Question
QUESTION: About a week and a half ago my girlfriend and I bought two baby leopard geckos at a reptile expo. Upon bringing them home one of them seemed to have a damaged leg. It had a red spot on it and it was walking funny. Since then the spot has gone away but the gecko still has difficulty walking. It also has refused to eat since we bought it. It is only about 3.5 inches so we thought it could be that it had not stopped using its yolk for nutrients. However after several days, we began feeding her worm guts through a syringe with some calcium powder. She tends to refuse it and last night she began throwing up anything we gave her. She is extremely skinny and fragile and we are very concerned. We thought of taking it to the vet but at its size we're not too sure of what they would be able to do. We don't want to stress her but we want her to live. We really need some help, we are willing to do whatever it takes to keep her alive. I will include the husbandry information below

-21x11 tank
-heating: through heating pads
-maximum temperature in enclosure 90 degrees
-minimum temperature 70 degrees
-2 hides one warm and moist the other cool and dry
-substrate: gravel texture insert some moss in hides
-providing butterworms, silkworms and crickets with calcium

ANSWER: Hello Oliver,

That is rough, she is so tiny & fragile indeed.
The setup looks fine & the temperatures are good also.  Is one end the 88-90 temperature with a basking light & undertank heater?
Did it look like the leg had been bitten possibly?  I wonder if there is any infection?
Also, there is a good chance of her having worms or parasites.  She is so small that it is hard to treat them.
You can try feeding chicken or turkey baby food with a plastic dropper or syringe.
You can also find some probiotics also in case her digestive system is affected by stress.  You can use non dairy soy yogurt or acidophiliz.

Let me know how she is doing.

QUESTION: Hello Tracie,
Thank you for your response. Unfortunately our little gecko didn't make it. She passed sometime yesterday when we were out of the house, probably not long after I sent this message. It seems like it might have just had too many things against it. We were not aware of the signs of an unhealthy gecko when we bought them. Thankfully our other one is still doing great. He's been eating a lot and is quite active. Thanks again for your help

Answer
Hello Oliver,

Oh no, I am so sorry.  She must have had some internal problems, if she passed that quickly.  Sometimes, they are ill from the beginning & there isn't much you can do when they are so small & fragile.  That is too bad, so sorry for your loss.
I am glad to hear that your other gecko is doing so well & that he is eating so much right now.
Let me know if you need anything else!
