Broward County iguana problem

Question
I read your advice to Susie with dozens of iguanas in her yard and wanted to add something to your answer.

I have been dealing with iguanas in my Broward County yard for several years. After trying to repel them with some success, I found the only real solution is to catch and euthanise. I have maintained a website to help others with the same problem http:www.iguanatrap.com

There is no way to repel them forever because the population doubles every year. Repelling them just pushes the problem on somebody else. I can understand that people don't want to harm or kill them but to solve the problem, somebody has to. The iguana trapper you mentioned has a real job and has stopped the trapping business, at least for a while.

By the way, replacing a seawall in this area costs $1000/foot. The average length of a seawall in my area is 75 feet. I'm not sure Susie loves the iguanas quite that much.

Answer
Hi Mike,
Thank you for the additional info..there is actually a place on the actual question that you can "add to this answer".  If you would be kind enough to go to the original question/answer and post what you have said above, it would be greatly appreciated.
