Question
hi pam

i have 2 adult blue toungs 2 babys and one adult stump tailed lizard and i am wondering when the go in to hibernation and how to get them in to hibernation

Answer
Reptile hibernation is called brumation and it can be different for each species.  You let them brumate in their natural cycle.  For blue tongues it is around mid November to end of February or mid March.  For this species, their is a detailed information article:

As far a a "stump-tailed" lizard,  I'm not sure what species that is, if it's a skink, is it a shingleback?
The babies should be allowed to eat and grow all year. Only large, healthy, well-fed adults should brumate.
