Question
ive got a few chinese water dragons, who have laid some eggs ,i sucesfully built a incubator & my 1st egg hatched yesterday,my question is how long a period between 1st hatchling & final hatchling emmerge from the eggs,as i have 5 eggs that still look good

Answer
I don't know what temp you had your incubator at but if it's the normal 84-86F, incubation should be 60-70 days.  The first hatchling stimulates the rest to hatch by running over the other eggs.  I've had eggs hatch for up to 10 days after the first hatchling, and others have taken even longer keeping to the lower end of the temp range. So if your first little one hatched yesterday, the others should start following within a few days.
