Question
QUESTION: I have a 4 month old water dragon that will not  eat. I have tried everything from buying a bigger light because the temperature was to low and increasing the humidity to about 85% during the day. I have also tried feeding him a variety of foods like crickets, mealworms, waxworms, calci worms, and greens. i also change his water area every other day.......Plz help!

ANSWER: Hi Ryan, you need to take your water dragon to the vet if he is not eating. Its not good. When did you get him? How long has it been sense he hasn't eaten? If you can not get him into a vet right this very second then buy some baby food Chicken kind JUST chicken. Get a syringe that they use for baby medicine the kind with no needle. and you will have to try and get him to eat that way. Dont force it to hard he will get hurt. Make sure he has UV lighting and everything needed to be happy and healthy. I hope he is ok and be sure to get him into a vet. Good luck and let me know how it goes

QUESTION: Hey thanks for the information! I tried it about 3 hrs after you replied and it worked....well he did eat some. I only got him to eat around 1/2mil if that though. I don't know if your have anymore tips on how to get him to eat but thanks for this one...it worked and I'll keep trying.

Answer
Hi, I am glad it helped another food you can try is canned green bean baby food. Its healthy and will give him a variety but he needs the protein from the chicken as well. You should still see a vet because although you can make him eat baby food he still isn't eating at will.
You can also blend up crickets and insects like that with calcium dust and vitamins and such and syringe it like that. But really a vet needs to be contacted. I really hope he gets better. Good luck again!
