QuestionWhat dangers are there in transporting bearded dragons via airplane?? I have a 6m old and she travels well but i am concerned about the change of altitude on her. Please respond ASAP
AnswerHi Tamari,
Since planes are pressurized, there generally isn't a problem with altitude...but..the problem is...I know of no airlines that allow any reptile in the passenger area of a plane.. Reptiles must go in the cargo area. Check with your airlines to see what their specific rules are. When in cargo, the temperatures can drop pretty low or get pretty high.(airlines can tell you what the lowest and highest temps would be on a particular flight)
