Question
Hello-
our little sweet lizards name is Lizzy, we have had her for aprox 3yrs and believe she is about 5yrs old. Please, reply quickly as I'm super worried about her living much longer and need to know if I can help her. She is like a child to me very sweet and affectionate, we take het out often to hold. I've noticed the last several months she has been molting much more frequently, like every two weeks! She hasprogresdively gotten less active and the last couple days very listless. Today I have neem holding her a lot and she doesn't even respond when I scratch her, which she usually loves, she just lays there, it is heatbreaking! I don't think she has been eating either, today I have been dropper feeding her water. She is really skinny, her abdomn is dark and her tail is skinny. Please, let me know if she is just old or could be saved! Thank you for you quick response! We love our little girl

Answer
Hello Kelly,

That is too bad, age wise, she should live a lot longer.  The albino morphs are usually inbred & tend to have some health problems.
What is your setup like?
If she is losing weight you can get some chicken, turkey or beef baby food to syringe to her daily to help her out right now.
What type of foods do you feed her?
If it is renal or hepatic troubles, there wont be a whole lot you can do.
How often has she gone to the bathroom?

Can you post a picture of her?
