Chinese Water Dragon Sleeping Habits

Question
What are your tips to keep the humidity levels between 60-80%?  We have one potted plant, some peat moss, a good substrate and we mist two or more times a day.  Temperatures are also about where they should be.  But we are struggling with the humidity.

Question -
We just recently bought a juvenile chinese water dragon.  At night, while it sleeps, it looks as though it's breathing rate slows even stops.  What is the normal sleeping habit for these animals?

Answer -
Hey Jamie,
water dragons are one of my personal favorites, congrats on your new friend;-) ok.. thanks for the question it is perfectly normal for you to not detect your babys breathing as it will slow when sleeping, here are a few pointers for general care and if you have any more questions feel free to ask, tank temp should be 83-88 degrees with a basking light at one end of the tank, and at night about 10 degrees cooler,a water supply big enough for him/her to play and soak in, make sure to change the water Everyday.dragons are also arborial so you can place a branch in the tank for him/her to hang out in, idealy under the basking light.
dragons love earthworms, mealys, king mealy, and will eat crickets to , some dragons will eat fruits ands veggies most wont but youcan offer it to see the fruit should be non-citric, and kale is ok , no plane lettuce it is all water and no nutriants  well enjoy your new dragon and let me know if i can help again

         thanks

Answer
hey jamie,
keeping the humidity at 80% is very tuff you are allready doing the right things with the substrate and potted plant as well as the misting,so if you are between 60-80% that is going to be just fine, let me no what yours is.if its under 60 you may need to add i more plant and mist a little longer.

         thanks and keep me posted
