hi how are you doing..i recently bought a bearded dragon about almost a week
and a half ago he is starting to eat well now but is so scared of me whenever i
even get near his tank he flys off his basking branch trying to escape and then
opens his mouth like he is going to bite me is thier any tips on how to tame
him? ..he is about 8 inches long..his basking temp is arounnd 105-110..he also
has his eyes closed when he basks is that right? i appreciate it

How are you?
What type & brand of UVB light are you using, a flourescent tube bulb or a compact or coil light?  
When you go to get him, make sure he sees your hand & scoop him from underneath but don't reach over him or he may see you as a predator & run.
